#supporthandmade ~ wake me up designs.

This Christmas season, I decided to purchase a few handmade gifts for family and friends. Since really getting into the whole Instagram shopping thing, I've found SO many amazing small shops. Like I literally can't believe how talented some people are. It's nice to think that through buying small or handmade, I'm helping along someone else's small business or family.

I'm happy to have made new friends along the way, either though blogging or through Instagram. Several of them operate their own Etsy shops. When I come across a product I simply love, either for myself or for the girls, I want to review it. And it doesn't get much better than reviewing your friends' items and helping to promote their shops!

And now since Christmas is only a few short weeks away, I've decided to dedicate a few more items on NOAB's Holiday Gift Guide to the #supporthandmade objective.

Shop: Etsy // Facebook

Today, the shop I'm sharing with you is my friend Sarah's Etsy shop, Wake Me Up Designs. I met Sarah on Instagram and we connected over our daughters, who are just a few weeks apart. She's kinda a super mom ~ running her shop, blog, and going to grad school full time!

At Wake Me Up Designs, Sarah sells her handmade coffee mugs. Right up my ally, since I'm pretty much a coffee addict. For my review, she sent me one of her adorable holiday mugs. I couldn't help myself ~ I started drinking out of it the day that it arrived in its lovely little packaging.

There's three mugs there in that box...because I also ordered two custom mugs for my parents for gifts. But no pictures of those until AFTER Christmas ~ can't be having any ruined surprises!

The mugs from Wake Me Up designs are simple and pretty. Sarah offers regular-sized mugs and mini mugs, in holiday designs and "blogger" designs. Because seriously, what blogger doesn't need a cup of coffee or tea when she's up at 5 AM blogging?

So what are your waiting for, you caffeine-seeking beauties? Go gift a mug...or get one for yourself!

In honor of the holidays, Wake Me Up Designs is offering 15% off your entire purchase.

{Disclosure: I received this product complimentary from Wake Me Up Designs for reviewing purposes. However, the wording and opinions stated are my own.}

The beautiful handmade dresses from Nana's Sewing Closet was my first #supporthandmade review, a few weeks ago. Nana's added a TON of new dresses to her shop ~ get your orders in for Christmas!

And don't forget about these two fab giveaways going on currently ~
TODAY is your last chance to win a super soft Goosewaddle blanket!

  1. I love that mug and so have to go check out her Etsy site. Thank you for sharing this Kera and seriously you looked perfect with that mug! Hope you are having a wonderful Thursday so far and really love that you are supporting small shops on here!! :) xoxo!!

  2. Thanks Janine! You definitely should check her out, her mugs are adorable. I purchased two custom ones for my parents {from the girls} for Christmas and they turned out great! I can't wait to give the mugs to them. I've really gotten into trying to shop more Etsy shop and small businesses lately, when the budget can afford it. There are some really neat things out there! Hope you are having a nice Thursday too, despite all of this fog/rain! xoxo :)
