It's March. And in my mind, that means spring is just around the corner. Even if it's been a little late in getting here this year. Meaning...where the heck are the robins?
I swear...when we lived in Virginia, I saw the first lovely robins in the middle of February. We started having 70 degree days in March. The cherry blossoms were in full bloom by April. But I also spent all those amazing days working, being crowded in train cars, and sitting in traffic.
Moving five hours and three states to the north definitely feels like we moved to Alaska. But I don't have to work and I'll never have to ride the metro again. Trade offs.
If spring ever decides to make it here, some of the things you'll find me doing...
Last year...the middle of March. Our magnolia tree starting to bloom.
// Spending every warm afternoon with baby girl, either outside or at the park.
// Trading those winter coats for my sandals! And getting a pedicure.
// Getting back to our daily walks with Dallas. He'll love me again :)
// Breaking out the camera to take photos of everything beautiful and green outside.
// Shopping for warm weather clothes! I don't even remember what it feels like to wear short sleeves.
// Spring cleaning the house with the windows open. Yes. A change in seasons even makes an unmotivated person do crazy things.
Sitting outside in the sun. Reading.
// Planning {hopefully} some new adventures as a family.
What are some warm-weather things you're looking forward to?

ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to sitting outside and reading. Riding the boat around the lake and we even talked about buying those transportable hammocks.
