it's a #latergram.

I wrote this post almost two weeks ago, but I've been wanting to post it since I get to show you lovelies how we celebrated the big V-Day. Which I didn't expect to celebrate {not a fan}. And the weather was gorgeous and warm. Not so much any more...we're back to the fun cold and snow/rain!

Come on daffodils and robins...I'm WAY overdue to see you.

----------

The past two days were lovely.

I'm not one to get all wrapped up in Valentine's Day and such, but it was a good one this year. I especially like how it fell the day after Ash Wednesday. Two good days.

Wednesday night, we attended our church's service, which was really beautiful. I can't begin to tell you how much I love being part of our church. Truly a wonderful family. That's what it is: a family. Sofia will grow up in the spotlight there, with her church grandmas and all her little boyfriends...LOL.

Thursday, I woke up to find this little homemade "card" from the hubs. He never ceases to surprise me. In the midst of the perfect storm {otherwise known as tax season} and he makes me a PowerPoint Valentine card. So him.

So of course my cheap $5 store-bought cards look like just that...cheap. So the nugs and I decided to bake Daddy's favorite cookies, because he really is the best Daddy in the world. Peanut butter with PB cups. Um...YUM?!

Oh. And I pretty much got the best gift ever from the hubs. A take-out dinner of Mix-n-Mac. Think Subway or Quiznos, but with macaroni and cheese. AND I didn't have to cook!
