finish the sentence already...

I'm doing another inaugural linky today! Holy cow...that's twice in one week. Two consecutive days even. I'm blowing my own mind people.

I've been a bad friend the past few weeks and haven't even helped one of my BFFs Janine by supporting her new linky, Finish the Sentence Fridays. Yeah, I know...what's wrong with me? And it's even a super fun and hilarious time to read the posts that get linked up. Hilarious, I tell ya.

This week's prompt: "When it comes to reality TV shows, I..."

...Am completely obsessed. As in, those are the only kind of TV shows that I watch. Let me tell you, I don't know where TV today would be without reality shows. Probably a whole lot cleaner, nicer, and wholesome, but then that would just be boring, right? And I would be forced to watch sitcoms or the dreaded prime-time drama. Noooo!

You see, when I watch TV, it usually is in the evening, before bed. The nugget and I hardly ever watch it during the day. Probably because the only TV we have in the house {gasp!} is in our family room basement and me, I like to spend time in the daylight.

And the last thing I want to have permanently ingrained in my mind when I go to sleep are sad or scary visions of the last show I watched. Which is why I don't watch sad or scary shows. My outlet? Reality TV!! Always funny {though usually dumb and pathetic}.

Topping my list of favorites right now are {and I'm SO not ashamed}:

Dance Moms - Lifetime
Buckwild - MTV
Snooki & Jwoww - MTV
Catfish - MTV
Moonshiners - Discovery
Millionaire Matchmaker - Bravo
The Kroll Show - Comedy Central {I don't think this counts as reality, but it's hilarious}

Oh the love I feel for reality television. Gives me a few laughs and makes me realize how awesomely normal my life really is.
What are some of your favorite reality shows?

  1. Aww, Kera you truly made me laugh and put a smile on my face with your post. I will give that most reality shows are pretty funny and good for getting some laughter in. I truly have tried to stay away now, because I can get obsessed pretty easily. That said, I loved your post and thank you for your friendship and support. xoxo :) :)

    1. Let's see...my favorite one at the moment would have to be Dance Moms. And the Kroll Show, it's not reality, but it is freakin' hilarious!

  9. I love Dance Moms also (crazy!). Lee and I watched Amish Mafia (there were only like 4 episodes). I watch Buckwild some (Lee watches it). If it's a reality show, I will most definitely get sucked in. I always liked to watch Super Nanny back when it came on and now they have an American nanny show. I don't remember what it's called. I like criticizing people's parenting (since I don't have kids of my own). :)

    1. Haha! I love that you are surprised. I bet a lot of people that my husband works with would be surprised too lol. I like that looks can be deceiving sometimes :) I actually got into Moonshiners because my dad watched it once while he was visiting and I was hooked. I don't know why...probably because it's interesting. And I love Cutie Pie. And I think it's hilarious that men wear overalls without a shirt underneath. Thanks for visiting...I'm following your blog now!

  11. I watched a season of Project Runway and once upon a time I was an American Idol fan. I saw a partial season of The Voice and I liked it.
