Remember the lovely Dara from yesterday's spotlight post? You better!
Today, she's back...with her take on being a mommy of three. Those are her beautiful kids below, and the words that follow come straight from a mom's heart. And I can honestly say that no matter the number of kids you have, every one of the thoughts below rings true. I think this is what Dara means by celebrating love every day.
On the joys of being a mom to three...
If you sit down on the floor, on the couch, or on a chair, it will be a matter of minutes before someone is sitting on top of you. Likewise, if you lean over so your back is open, someone will sit on you and tell you you're a horsie.
You will feel like laundry never ends, the toys are taking over your house, and you are constantly asking your kids to pick up their things.
Someone will always be the one who doesn't want to do what everyone else wants to do.
The whining will make you crazy.
As soon as you get them new clothes, they will stain them or tear a hole in them. So much for handing down to the next child!
It is rare that someone is not asking you for something.
You wait all day for bedtime.
You remember what it's like to be a kid.
You can learn to love the small things -- a weed in the yard, the garbage truck's arrival, a day with no homework.
You will wonder what you ever did without them.
You will love like you never thought you could.

To accompany her sweet guest post, I'm excited to announce that Dara is giving away one of her handmade knitted Rapunzel hats!
If you are an avid reader of Leslie's blog, Violet Imperfection, you might have seen the Rapunzel hat before. Leslie's adorable daughter Violet is modeling the hat for us today :)
Here's a description of the hat from Dara:
The hat is inspired from the Disney movie Tangled and is meant to look like Princess Rapunzel. This listing is for a toddler/child-sized hat. It is made from soft wool yarn which will keep your child's head warm but will need to be hand washed.
Now get entering! And don't forget to check out my girl Dara at Not In Jersey.

That is such a beautiful picture of the three kids!!
