me: a to z.

As you ALL know...I've been in a bit of a blogging slump lately. Well actually a pretty big slump. And I hate it, because I love my bloggy and I love writing and I love my sweet friends and readers. I hate that you're not getting your daily dose of me and the nug.

Which brings me to this awesome slump-remover idea that I found today on Andrea's blog, Mostly Happenstance. When you can't figure out what to write {and you're SO not in the mood to even try}, resort to fun and cheesy A-Z questionnaires. You know you love them.

A // Available or Married?
Married...and he's kind of a big deal. Looks delish in his softball attire and in a three-piece suit.

B // Book?
What I'm reading now? None. Sad sad. Especially because I love to read. I've got Gone Girl on my list and The Night Circus. My favorite book? The Hunger Games. All three. Hands down. So far, the books are WAY better than the movies.

C // Cake or Pie?
Hmm. That's a hard one. My cravings are weird right now so I'm going with cake. Spice cake.

D // Drink of choice?
Slightly obsessed with Naked juices and those new Aloe drinks. Like candy in a bottle...except good for you.

E // Essential item?
iPhone. Blankets and yoga pants are a close second.

F // Favorite color?
This changes all the time. Currently: yellow.

G // Game to play or watch?
Card game: Apples to Apples. Played with the right people, it can be hilarious. Sport {game}: I love playing soccer. I'd keel over on the field right now if I tried, but someday I'll play again!

H // Hometown?
Lebanon, PA. Did you ever hear of Lebanon bologna? Best lunch meat ever. Google it.

I // Indulgence?
Taking a hot bath. ALONE.

J // Job?
Stay at home mama to one baby girl and one puppy boy and proud of it.

K // Kids and names?
Most of you know we have a little girl, Sofia, who's 15 months old. Our other furry child is Dallas, and he's a  two year old Rhodesian Ridgeback mix. We do have other kids in our plans for the future...you'll just have to wait to hear about those names :)

L // Life is incomplete without?
My family.

M // Music group or singer?
I like a lot of different artists, so I can't really say I have a favorite. I really like music by Lady Antebellum, Matthew West, and Mumford & Sons. Told you I like different!

N // Number of siblings?
One sister who's five years younger than me and my best friend.

O // Oranges or apples?
I actually like oranges better, but eat apples more often because they are easier to eat lol.

P // Phobias/Fears?
That someone broke into our house and is hiding out downstairs. Which is why I have to turn on all the lights when I go down there and sometimes I run back upstairs because I'm scared. Sounds dumb, but I've always been like that!

Q // Favorite quote?
It's actually a Bible verse. "Trust in the Lord with all of your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." --Proverbs 3:5-6

R // Reason to smile?
My baby girl.

S // Season?
Spring, definitely. I love watching everything come to life once again. Summer is a close second {beach, duh}, then Fall. I absolutely despise Winter...I could do without the months of January and February!

T // Tattoos?
None! Just not for me.

U // Unknown facts about me?
I hate the movie The Wizard of Oz. Something about those flying monkeys.

V // Vegetables you love?
Currently...tomatoes. I could eat those little grape tomatoes all day!

W // Worst habit?
Procrastinating on everything.

X // X-Rays you've had?
I've never broken a bone {knock on wood} so I've only had dental x-rays. Too many to count, because I have horrendous teeth.

Y // Your favorite food?
Hard-boiled eggs and elbow macaroni with butter and pepper. And that's only what I'm feeling at this moment, on this day. Told you I have weird tastes right now!

Z // Zodiac?
Virgo. Analytical, perfectionist, conservative, worrier. Very fitting.

  1. We have a lot in common! It's always fun to blog with an easy prompt when you're in a rut {at least I have found it to be}.

I was really disappointed with The Hunger Games movie too! They left so much out and how did Peeta end up without an artificial leg??? Haha.

  4. I knew we were friends for a reason. We have a ton in common including our shared hatred of winter. The months of January and February are the worst for me and just can't wait for Spring here either now!!

  6. I don't have any tattoos, either. Frankly I'm too scared of someone using an unclean needle. Not worth it, in my opinion.
