15 months. my tornado child.

Don't ask me how, but here you are, 15 whole months old already!

Isn't it funny how last year at this time, those first three months of our new life together seemed to go SO slow? We were learning from each other and settling into a haphazard routine. Everything was still so new! And now, a year later, I'm wondering how the last three months just flew by.

Just like that.

Weren't we just celebrating your first birthday and having Halloween fun? Visiting grandma and grandpa for Thanksgiving and gearing up for your "first" big Christmas?
And now it's a new year with new adventures ahead of us. Welcome to toddlerhood!

My little nugget, I couldn't ask for a more outgoing, personable little girl.
{Even if that means I'm running after you like a mad woman all day long. Gotta get my exercise in anyway, right?}

You're into everything, wondering how things work and wanting to explore.
You've been watching mommy and daddy intently, picking up on the daily things we do.
Imagine surprised Mommy when you started "eating" off your play plate with your play fork and "pouring" coffee into our mugs! Feeding a bottle to your baby doll and putting her in your play stroller.
Babbling away like we're holding a conversation.

So proud.

You've grown so much in the past three months!
Daddy and I now receive kisses and hugs and crystal-clear "Mommy" and "Daddy".
Although your favorite word is still puppy because you love love your big brother!
Everyone we meet is amazed at how many words you can say, how good you can walk RUN.
I'd have to say that you're one smart cookie. But I have a biased opinion :)

Keep being your crazy self little one...while Mommy may act like she's gone off the rocker some days, I wouldn't have it any other way. You're my heart. I love you.

  8. It's amazing how in a blink of an eye they become little people. I caught penny kissing her baby and laying her in bed and covering her up and I had to cry about it. It goes fast!
